Campy Growers have been operating on a shoestring with borrowed/donated equipment for several years now. We need to print appealing, colour posters etc for workshops and events, but also simple B+W sheets for record-keeping. Our 2nd-hand HP inkjet has died (stopped printing B+W) and we have tried everything to make it work. So we need a new printer - or a 2nd-hand one that works. Compact and with scanner for preference.

Evidence of Completion

At Campy Growers SCIO we try to keep printing and paper use to a minimum, however we find it is essential to produce paper posters, leaflets etc to publicise our events, Climate Café and volunteer opportunities. We distribute leaflets with our donated veg so the recipients can understand it is locally, sustainably grown with love and care. Campy Growers SCIO have been managing up till now with a donated printer which worked for 4 years (albeit using expensive ink cartridges) but gave up a few weeks ago. Being mostly dependent on grant funding we struggle for funds to replace office equipment so Robertson's offer of a new printer was gratefully received. This enabled us to upgrade to a printer that uses refillable ink tanks, saving money and resources. It will also do A3 posters, which we used to have to organise and pay for separately.” – Leslie Martin, Volunteer.
