Lochee United Community Trust is a newly formed group dedicated to strengthening football opportunities within the local community. We are seeking funding to install a new handrail to create a safer environment for everyone using our facilities. The handrail will improve accessibility and stability, particularly for young players, older visitors, and those with mobility challenges. By reducing the risk of slips and falls, this improvement will enhance safety, confidence, and inclusion, ensuring the club remains a welcoming and secure space for the whole community. The handrail to be fitted is on our land so we wouldn’t require a building warrant, we recently had a path installed and had not included a handrail in the original project. We would be looking for a company able to supply and fit a handrail or if an organisation was able to sponsor this piece of work. Companies can provide a donation toward the cost of this project if unable to support the whole project.
